Well done, Cheryl Dick! Cheryl is a secretary at Denali Elementary and the March Extra Special Support Staff Person.Cheryl is known for her exemplary work in her role as secretary and for fostering a sense of connection among all who enter the school.
“She provides that extra support – and makes students, parents, and staff an extension of her family,” said principal Tim Doran.
Cheryl’s contribution to the atmosphere of Denali Elementary was reflected in a recent parent opinion poll in which 100 percent of the respondents said they felt welcome in the school.
“A lot of that credit goes to Cheryl,” added Doran.
