Thank you to all who participated in the Kindergarten Backpack Giveaway! At the end of the giveaway deadline, nearly 400 students enrolled as incoming kindergarteners for the 2022-23 school year. The District collected 65 backpacks and distributed them among 17 of our elementary schools.
The backpacks included school supplies such as pencils, folders, water bottles, headphones, tissues, and lined paper. We hope this helps families prepare their little ones for success!
Families that completed kindergarten registration through May 6 were eligible to win. Winners were randomly selected from the enrollment list at each elementary school. Schools will contact the winning families and coordinate a time for pickup.
