Career Development

Ryan Middle School is proud to use the Alaska Career Information System or AKCIS to set up career development profiles for all of its students.  Before each student leaves Ryan Middle, they will have set up their own career profile through ackis.org and completed a career cluster inventory.  This inventory will be used to help 8th grade students develop an education plan for their High School Career.  The site is helpful for students to plan which careers interest them and which courses in high school they need to take.  Parents/Guardians are encouraged to look over the AKCIS site with their student in order to develop a more thorough education plan.
