Introduction to the Trades Program Concludes

Our two-week Introduction to the Trades program for 11th and 12th graders concluded last Friday with 33 GRADUATES!
 
 
Led by expert industry instructors at the Fairbanks Pipeline Training Center, these students received hands-on and real-life work experience while working eight hours a day, five days a week. Through the program, students developed industry skills in the class while also learning professional skills critical for workplace success.
 
 
Students are encouraged to apply for a direct entry position into a union apprenticeship upon completion of the Introduction to the Trades class.

• Heavy Equipment Maintenance
• Process Technology
• Laborers
