Letter from Chief School Administrator - Local Tragedy | July 28, 2022

Dear FNSBSD Families and Staff,

I want to take a moment to recognize the deep tragedy that happened in our community this week at the loss of four children. My feelings upon hearing the shocking news went from utter disbelief to overwhelming sorrow. To the family and friends directly impacted, please accept my deepest condolences. 

There are not enough words or the right kind of words that adequately express the range of emotions that follow such loss. Working through these emotions for us, as adults, can be difficult and can be even more difficult for the children in our lives. I want you to know if you or your children are struggling and need help processing the emotions connected to this tragedy, there is help available. Below are a few of those support resources that are available.

These kinds of events serve as a reminder to take a moment to pull our loved ones close and let them know how very valuable they are to us and the world and to never forget there is always hope in every desperate situation.
