Subject: Summer Food Service Program Begins June 3 for Children in Need

FAIRBANKS–The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program starting Monday, June 3, 2024. Meals will be provided to all children, 18 years and younger, without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows: 

Barnette Magnet School

June 3 – June 26 (M-TH)

Breakfast & Lunch

8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.; 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

 

Hunter Elementary School

June 3 – June 27 (M-TH)

Breakfast & Lunch 

8:15 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.; 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online here, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation.
