About Our School

  • Nordale Elementary School opened in 1953 and has provided over 50 years of continuous service to students in grades K-6. Located in the heart of the city of Fairbanks, Nordale is dedicated to building a strong academic foundation for students, developing a desire to learn and grow with the student's abilities and aspirations in partnership with parents, community and families.
    Hjalmar Nordale Elementary School has seen many generations of families pass through its doors. It is a part of the colorful historic past of Fairbanks. The Nordale community continues to support and be the strength of this school.
