Miss Chris Steinpreis, 2nd Grade Teacher

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  I am one of Anderson-Crawford’s 2^nd grade teachers.  My 24 years of teaching experience as an English Language Learner teacher, First Grade teacher, Second Grade teacher and Reading & Math Interventionist have allowed me many opportunities to grow as an educator.  My Bachelor’s Degree is in Education and English Language Learning, and I have a Master’s Degree in Reading and Learning Disabilities.

I recently moved from Wisconsin to Alaska to be with my son (Army) and his family.  My grandson is three years old, and I’m excited to watch him grow and learn.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and working in my yard.  I also have four dogs that keep me entertained.

I’m looking forward to a great school year!
