• NPH's School Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC)

The Department of Defense has provided a School Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) at North Pole High School.

The School MFLC provides brief, solution-focused, non-medical counseling to active-duty military connected teens and their families and National Guard military connected teens whose parent(s) are on active duty orders.

      • The school MFLC is a licensed clinician.
      • Interactions with your teen and/or family are kept in the strictest confidence.
      • No records are kept.
      • If you are interested in learning more about the program, stop by the school, or call the school MFLC directly at (907) 488-3761.

A Parent Acknowledgement Form must be signed prior to the School MFLC working with any teen directly. There is a permission form letter this is available from the School MFLC. Signing this letter signifies that the parent has read the information regarding the services that the School MFLC provides and gives permission to interact with their teen should a need arise for support.
