• Discovery Peak Charter Opening Soon!

    Discovery Peak Charter School will open our doors in August for the 2019-2020 school year.  As a new charter school serving families within the Fairbanks North Star Borough, we welcome anyone interested in learning more about our school mission and philosophy to attend one of the upcoming orientation meetings. Discovery Peak learners will experience a rigorous, innovative, and personalized academic program in grades K-8.  Through hands-on discovery, community-focused problem solving, and increased physical activity, our students will engage in a unique, learn-by-doing curriculum.

    Orientation Meetings

    A requirement of the Discovery Peak Lottery is attendance at one of our scheduled orientation meetings.  Even if you are not planning on enrolling in the lottery for next school year, we welcome anyone interested in learning about our school to join us.  If you are planning on enrolling in the lottery, attendance at one of the orientations is a requirement.  All of the meetings will be held at the North Pole Worship Center 2/42, 3340 Badger Road Suite 280, North Pole, Alaska.

    •  Thursday Jan 31st @ 7pm
    •  Saturday Feb 9th @ 12pm
    •  Tuesday Feb 19th @ 7pm


    Academic Policy Committee

    The Discovery Peak Academic Policy Committee membership is made up of dedicated individuals who have worked to bring the vision of Discovery Peak Charter to a reality.  Membership includes the following individuals:
