About Us

Boreal Sun Charter School was approved by the State of Alaska’s Department of Education in December of 2016.  We opened our doors to students in August of 2017.  We are a developing member of the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education, and are guided by the Core Principles of Public Waldorf Education.  For more information on this approach, please see our "Core Principles", “Mission and Vision Statement”, “FAQ”, and “Resources” sections of the website. 

Location

We are located at 2404 South Barnette St., in Fairbanks.  We are located in the former Lily of the Valley Church.
