Mrs. Beaudreault

Hello Kindergarten Students and Parents,
My name is Mrs. Beaudreault and I am very excited to be your teacher this year.  I want to give you a little bit of information about me, which I am sure you will hear again in the classroom.  I love teaching and have always wanted to be a teacher since I was in 3rd grade.  I was born on Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska.  I grew up in Wasilla and graduated from Colony High school in Palmer, Alaska and then attended and graduated college with my B.A. in Elementary Education at the University of Alaska Anchorage.  I  also have my Masters in Education from the National University in California.  I have been teaching for 15 years within a variety of grade levels.  I spent 2 years teaching Kindergarten (this is my 3rd year in Kindergarten, 1 year a mixed class for Kindergarten/1st grade and 1st grade/2nd grade, 6 years teaching 2nd grade, 1 year in 1st grade, and 4 years teaching 3rd grade.  I started out teaching in the Anchorage School District in Girdwood and on Elmendorf AFB at Aurora Elementary.  After 6 wonderful years of teaching there, I got married, had my son, and my husband got a job in the Fairbanks area, so we moved North.  I really love living in North Pole.  My husband is a Navy Reservist and works a civilian job as well.  We have 3 children, a son, who is now 8, a daughter who is 7, and another son who is 3 years old.  All of my children love our dogs (4 dogs, named Casper, Denali, Pylin, and Sven) and our cat (named Autumn).  Having been raised in Alaska, I really enjoying being outdoors hunting, fishing, skiing (down hill, cross country, and skijoring), hiking, walking, four wheeling, and snow machining.  I also enjoy reading, listening to music, singing, playing with my children and hanging out with my family.  I look forward to getting to know you all as the year progresses.  Strive for the best and I know you will have success!
