     BATTLE OF THE BOOKS UPDATE- 

    3/4TH GRADE WELLER SCHOOL BATTLE - JANUARY 25TH AT 1:30PM IN THE LIBRARY  

    Parents are welcome to attend!

     

    SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR IS COMING FEB. 21ST - 25TH 

    IT WILL BE A REGULAR FAIR!!!! (more than 1 copy of each book)

    THANKS TO YOUR SUPPORT OF THE LIBRARY WE EARNED $2000 WORTH OF FREE BOOKS AT OUR OCT BOOK FAIR.

     

     

    FEBRURARY IS LOVE OF READING MONTH!!! 

    WE WILL CELEBRATE BY INVITING CLASSES TO WATCH PLAYS PERFORMED

    BY MRS. ZIESEL'S 6TH GRADE CLASS!

    5TH GRADE STUDENTS WILL PERFORM A PLAY WRITTEN BY A FELLOW STUDENT

    ABOUT THE LIFE OF ANNE FRANK!

    OUR READING PARADE WILL TAKE PLACE ON FEB. 25TH WITH UAF ATHLETES AS SPECIAL GUESTS.

    THEY WILL GO TO CLASSROOMS TO READ & ANSWER STUDENT QUESTIONS ABOUT COLLEGE AFTER

    OUR FRIENDLY UAF VS TEACHERS VOLLEYBALL GAME IN THE GYM.

     The mission of the Weller Elementary School Library is to create a welcoming environment which provides students, staff, and parents with the resources needed to assist students in their education.
