Hello & Welcome to our library!

Denali Elementary School Library and Media Center strives to be an inspirational and informational resource to our school community.  Our collection not only supports the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District curriculum subject areas, but it also offers books and other media to entertain as well as spark the imaginations and curiosity of our students.

Did you know we have books on constructing Legos, Alaskan crafts, paper airplanes, making masks, making money, making friends, and SO MUCH MORE!  It's pretty easy to navigate our library, there are pictures and labels to help along the way.  Most students can even navigate the library catalog online well enough to put books ON HOLD!  They can even do it from home.  That's right. You can search our library catalog with your child and put books on hold TOGETHER so you can read together.  Just have them login with their s# and password to  start searching together.

On social media?  Check out Denali Library's Instagram, @denali_elementary_library, new this year.

  • Welcom Back to the 2019-2020 School Year!

I hope you had a FANTASTIC summer.  I sure did!  I got to take 2 trips.

The first trip was a road trip from Massachusettes to Alaska in a Toyota Highlander.  I drove through 15 states and 4 Canadian Provinces.  I camped in 2 US National Parks and drove through 2 others. We went to 2 Canadian National Parks.

Can you look in an Atlas and figure out where I went?  Can you guess what wild life I saw?

The secon trip I took was down to Homer, Alaska for my anniversary.

I also worked at a bank this summer and got to see some of you!

What did you do this summer?
