• Hello Arctic Light Foxes!

It sure has been lonely here in our library without all of you.  When we are all together at school, each class visits the library to check out books once a week at either a scheduled or flexible library time. Along with self selecting books for check out, library activities for students vary each week and may include a read aloud, short lesson, working on art/craft projects or reading and relaxing with a buddy. Ordinarily there are three scheduled open library times when students may visit the library outside of their scheduled class times to check out and return books.

However, due to our current remote learning status, visits to the library won't be happening that way right now.  Instead students will be checking books out by creating holds(resevations) using Destiny, our online library system.

     Creating Holds

Each student will be able to check out two books at a time for two weeks.  Reserved books will be gathered, checked out and bagged for curbside distribution on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 2:30 and 4:15 PM.   Books can also be returned during those same times. Returned books will be placed in a 72 hour quarantine before they are checked out again, in compliance with the CDC guidelines.

If these times don't work for your family please call or email me and so we can arrange another meeting time.
