    Distance Learning Links

Due to the school closures related to the COVID-19 pandemic, all classes are being moved to distance delivery format as of March 30, 2020. Above, you will find links to our online class schedules for both Middle School and High School Students. All Star of the North - North Pole Campus students and parents/guardians will be receiving emailed information and instructions on the use of the tools. If you have any questions or need assistance with technical issues and getting started, please email Rachel or Diana at the email addresses on the right side of your screen. We will do our very best to assist you as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all work to navigate the distance learning start-up process.

    About Our School

The North Pole Campus of Star of the North Secondary School, still fondly referred to as "The Academy" serves Fairbanks North Star Borough School District students in grades 7 - 12. The intent of the North Pole programs is to attract students whose parents, elementary school teachers or counselors feel would thrive in a small school setting. Often these young people are recently exited from Special Education, have been home schooled, or have moved from an Alaska native village where they have only known a small school setting. Sometimes they simply need more time to mature, have only recently begun to bloom or even suffer from family upsets. There is no single descriptor for our students, yet our intent for each of them is to try to prevent the middle school and ninth grade experiences that our older students tell us caused them to falter.
