2025 Interior Alaska Spelling Bee

The Interior Alaska Spelling Bee is open to all Interior Alaska schools, public and private.  Schools must have been enrolled with Scripps National Spelling Bee to participate in the Interior Alaska Spelling Bee.  Each school may have up to three top spellers in the Bee.  

Non-FNSB school districts will be assessed a $500 fee to help offset the expenses of the Interior Alaska Spelling Bee.

School enrollment in the Bee program for the 2024-2025 year began August 20, 2024, at spellingbee.com. The per-school enrollment fee will be:

$185 for schools that register before October 31, 2024  and

$199 for the remainder of the enrollment period, which ends on January 31, 2025.*

Educators and school administrators may  visit  www.spellingbee.com beginning August 20, 2024, to enroll.  We look forward to your school's participation!

*In some areas, school enrollment ends earlier than January 31st.

Schools that enroll in the 2025 Bee program receive the following benefits:

-Exclusive online access to the teachers-only section of spellingbee.com.

-Official competition lists for use in conducting classroom and school spelling bees.

-The Great Words, Great Works reading list with all source books, organized by reading level.

-Supplemental vocabulary materials for classroom and school levels.

-Customizable certificates for your participants and school champion

-Britannica Online for Kids: A one-year subscription to Britannica Online for Kids to award to a participant in your school's spelling bee program. If your school enrolls on or before September 30, your school receives TWO one-year subscriptions to Britannica Online for Kids.

-Study Materials: The 4,000-word Words of the Champions study guide for school champions that includes the 450-word School Spelling Bee Study List.
