Hunting Education Grant

Free Alaska Hunting Education Course in Fairbanks for FNSBSD Students Ages 10 and Up 

Students will learn about gun safety, wildlife conservation, and being respectful to nature, landowners, and other hunters. They'll spend about 6 hours learning online and 4 hours practicing in person.

2. Attend Your Field Day:
   • The class has a "Field Day" at the Fairbanks Hunter Education Indoor Shooting Range
   • It's at 1501 College Road and is scheduled for:  
     1. 09/29/2025, Monday from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Full)
     2. 10/14/2025, Tuesday from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
     3. 11/15/2025, Saturday, from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
     4. 12/06/2025, Saturday, from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
         
3. Pick Up Your Safety Gear:
   • When you sign up for this Alaska Hunter Education class, you will get a free first-aid kit, a lock for storing guns safely, and more. (unavailable - out of stock).
