Extended School Year (ESY)

Extended School Year (ESY/TESY) is a summer school service some students may qualify for based on individual needs. This is an IEP team decision based on data and student needs. If you would like to find out if your student qualifies for ESY, please contact your child's school. If your student is eligible for ESY, details are below. A letter with details will also be sent via Parent Square. 

  • Student Hours: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Dates: June 1 to June 25, Monday through Thursday
  • Locations: Denali Elementary (Fairbanks), Ticasuk Brown Elementary (North Pole), Barnette Magnett (Transitional ESY)
