Research & Accountability

The Research & Accountability office:

• Provides overall coordination of Research & Accountability
• Conducts research and evaluation studies of district programs
• Performs surveys for schools, administrative departments and the school board
• Prepares state and federal compliance reports which involve student information (school and district report cards, etc)
• Prepares annual reports on the condition of education within the district
• Prepares reports on district-wide student performance on assessments including Performance Evaluation for Alaska's Schools (PEAKS), ACT, SAT, WorkKeys, NAEP, alternative assessments and other state-required assessments
