Nurse Managers and Schools
In a school setting, nursing services—alongside health assistants—form a collaborative team dedicated to student wellness and safety. School nurses lead in assessing health needs, administering medications, managing chronic conditions, and coordinating care with families and healthcare providers. Health assistants support these efforts by handling daily care routines, documenting health data, assisting with screenings, and reinforcing protocols across the campus.
