Military Location Access

The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District has two (2) schools located on a military installation that require additional approvals to access:

• Anderson-Crawford Elementary (Eielson AFB)
• Arctic Light Elementary (Ft. Wainwright)

Military Location Access Form

Access roster approvals are valid for up to one (1) school year and expire on June 30th of each year.  A new form must be submitted for each school year in which access is needed.  Renewal Forms are distributed at the end of May of each year for the next school year.

Employee Access:  Employee Military Location Access Form

Complete this form if you are an employee of the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District and have an assigned F-Number or T-Number.

Volunteer / Contractor / Vendor Access: (not employee of school district):  Contractor Military Location Access Form. 

Complete this form if you are not an employee of the School District.  Some examples:

• Volunteer
• Contractor / Vendor - Employed by another agency who is doing work for the School District
• Presenter / Trainer

You will need to provide the School District Department/ School Name and / or the employee point of contact name when you complete this form.

REAL ID UPDATE

Starting May 7, 2025, a REAL ID will be required to access military installations. More information about Real ID can be found here:
