Labor Negotiations
The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District and the Fairbanks Principals’ Association (FPA) are not currently engaged in contract negotiations.
The current collective bargaining agreement remains in effect, and negotiations for a successor agreement are expected to begin in the 2026-27 school year.

The current collective bargaining agreement and any associated Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) outline terms of employment for principals, including compensation, benefits, and working conditions.
