At the end of each fiscal year, the school district's finances are thoroughly audited by independent certified public accountants. The school board treasurer meets with the district’s auditors and administrative services staff to ensure the district’s finances are in order.

Financial Statement Certificate of Excellence

The Association of School Business Officials International awarded a Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting to the school district for its comprehensive annual financial report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010. Additionally, the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada awarded the school district a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. This was the 20th consecutive year the school district has received these prestigious awards.
