Construction Crafts Laborer Training

Fairbanks Pipeline Training Center Complex, 3580 Cartwright Road
Laborers Local 942, 2740 Davis Rd
Students MUST provide their own transportation.

Course Description:
The Laborers Training course will provide a career exploration opportunity for students in high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand occupations. Topics will include but are not limited to:
- General Skills
- Heavy Highway Construction
- Building Construction
- Specialty Construction
Successful completion of this course can be a pathway into union apprenticeships.
Course Credit:
This will be a Pass/Fail outside credit course which will not be included in GPA calculations. There is a limit of ten students per course. Motivated students may be allowed to take two of the Introduction to the Trades courses. The final selection of student participants will be made by each Union Local instructor in conjunction with counselors and CTE Director.
