    ACT & SAT

    Here are the 2018 - 2019 ACT & SAT Registration, Costs, Dates & Times of the two exams. This sheet lists the differences between the two exams. Juniors and Seniors are encouraged to take the SAT and ACT as many times as they can to achieve their highest scores. Keep in mind, the APS (Alaska Performance Scholarship) requires a minimum ACT or SAT Score.

    To meet APS *Testing* requirements:

    Students must REGISTER for the ACT by March 8th (late registration: March 25th) and take the ACT April 13th, 2019 (scores available April 24 - June 8th)

    Students must REGISTER for the SAT by April 5th (late registration: April 24th) and take the SAT by May 5th, 2019 (scores available May 29th)

    Students must take the ACT/SAT by the dates listed above to qualify for the 2019/2020 APS. It is suggested that students take the ACT/SAT in Fall of their Junior and Senior year. 
    If you are using an ACT Fee Waiver or a SAT Fee Waiver, you can NOT register for the late registration dates in purple listed above. 

    Fall 2018: Scores are available to parents/guardians and students to took the PSAT 2018 online.

    Fall 2019: The Fall 2019 PSAT is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 in Hering Auditorium. Lathrop encourages all Sophomores and Juniors to take test. Registration instructions will be available in Fall of 2019. Studying for the PSAT is important, and it's never too early to get started!
