Introduction to Process Technology
Classes start in January 2020 and run for two days a week until May 2020
Fairbanks Pipeline Training Center Complex, 3580 Cartwright Road.
Students MUST provide their own transportation.

Monday & Wednesday / 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Offered spring semester 2020, the Process Technology course will provide a career exploration opportunity for students into high skill, high wage, and high process technology occupations within Alaska, and around the world. Topics may include but are not limited to:
- Operations Technicians in the process industry
- Oil and Gas Production
- Mining and Milling
- Transportation and Refining
- Waste water treatment
- Facilities Maintenance
Students who successfully complete this course may earn 3 (three) college credits through the University of Alaska Community and Technical College. There is a limit of twelve students per course. Motivated students may be allowed to take two of the Introduction to the Trades courses. The final selection of student participants will be made by the instructors of each Local in conjunction with counselors and CTE Director.
Qualified students will be selected on a first-come basis.
