Teachers and school staff are often the first to realize that a student or their family is struggling to meet basic needs. In a community with high transiency, it can be a challenge to locate the resources needed. Our community CAN meet every child's basic needs by connecting school staff with the resources available at local nonprofit and community agencies. This guide is intended to help school staff make appropriate referrals to address the basic needs of students, which ultimately supports the school district's mission to provide an environment where all students can succeed.
