  • Seeking Interest for Trauma Informed Culture Training in Fairbanks

Posted by Sheena Cummings on 9/21/2017
Are you interested in attending trauma-informed culture training sessions in Fairbanks in spring of 2018? Research shows that the mental and emotional well-being of students is negatively impacted if they are experiencing some form of toxic stress or trauma outside of school. This reality directly affects student performance, additude, behaviors, relationships, and decision making processes. A trauma-informed culture learns to understand the impact of trauma, becomes capable of recognizing trauma, and reaches the point of being trauma-informed to promote a culture of recovery.
