Facts & Figures
March is Music in Our Schools Month! Students are getting an early start and have performances scheduled starting at the end of February. Below is a list of performances planned around the district to celebrate music education.
FNSBSD is pleased to provide a new and interactive way to provide feedback on the district’s proposed budget. You can now use a budget simulation tool called Balancing Act to adjust the district’s revenue and spending to balance the budget.
We continue to face tough budget realities moving into next school year and school closure has again come forward as a way to sustainably reduce costs. The school board is considering the closure of two schools. District administration has put forward two schools recommended for closure and two additional schools for consideration.
