Rifle Information

  • Happy Summer!!  For those interested in trying out for the Rifle Team this year our season starts August 25 and runs until regionals November 20.  Tryouts will be held August 26, 27, and 30 (we do not practice on Wednesdays) and all tryout days are mandatory.  Practices are held at Tanana Valley Sportsmen's Association across from Fred Meyer West, on Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fridays with matches most every Saturday starting September 11.  No prior experience is necessary and all equipment will be provided.
     
    There is a $20 tryout fee that covers ammo, targets, and gear rentals, this fee is non-refundable but will be credited towards the participation fee if you make the team.The participation fee for the year has not yet been determined, I will update with that information prior to the start of the season.
     
    Any athlete wishing to try out for the team must have all the required forms and sports physical completed and uploaded into PlanetHS prior to participating in tryouts. The website requires BOTH a student account and parent/guardian account so that forms can be electronically signed. Students will not be allowed to participate until all forms are completed.
