Joy After School Program

  • The 21st Century Community Learning Center  Grant Funded After School Programs strive to improve student academics by providing a safe environment for students to explore interests, develop confidence, and celebrate success, while promoting positive connections between schools, families and our diverse community.
    Students enrolled in Joy's After School Program will participate in 45 minutes of academic support classes every day.  This portion of program will consist of skill building areas of reading, writing and math giving students an opportunity to practice skill they are learning in their regular school-day classroom.  In addition to the academic support classes, students will also participate in a variety of engaging enrichment classes.  Some examples of enrichment activities include, drama, dance, engineering, robotics, sewing, cooking, outdoor adventures and much, much more!       
    Program Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:00 - 5:10
    Student pick up - 5:10 - 5:15
    ASP Buses depart at 5:20
