Access Alaska: Access Alaska’s Pre-Employment Transition Services program has provided career exploration, work readiness training and work-based learning to over 100 students in Alaska’s Interior since 2017. Our program provides students ages 15-21, who experience a disability (IEP, 504 Plan, etc.) with the tools and experiences to gain and maintain employment and leap into independence after high school. Students complete this program with applicable tools and experience – such as research for career pathways, resume writing, interview skills, and soft skills practice in real work environments.
