Mission Statement

  • The mission of the Comprehensive High School Counseling Program (CHSCP) is to provide a sequential and developmentally based curriculum addressing academic, career, and personal/social education for ALL students at each grade level.  The program encourages all students to maximize their educational, personal/social, and career development potentials.  Students will see the value of what they are learning and how it will assist them in their personal, educational, and career goals.  Our program will reflect the National School Counseling Program Standards (as adopted October 1997).
