Overdrive Digital Reading Platform (Grades K-12)
The FNSB School District used the Overdrive Digital Library to distribute our EBooks (Electronic or digital books). These are current and classic books, many of which are in our physical library. In order to check out books from the FNSBSD Digital Library, you will need to sign on using Overdrive’s “SORA App”. It can be accessed in several ways depending on your device.
- SORA Apps are downloadable at the Apple and the Google Play stores by searching for “SORA” or “Overdrive”. (Other Overdrive Apps: The “Overdrive App” can be used with mixed results on Kindles. The “Libby App” is used for Public Libraries such as the Noel Wien Library.)
- It can also be accessed using a computer at the FNSBSD Classlink, in the Library Resources Folder.
- Finally, it can be accessed at https://soraapp.com/welcome/login/200630. If you use a Kindle, this may be your best option as they have directions on how to transfer checked out material to the Kindle Device.
It is easiest to logon to SORA using the device on which you will be reading the EBook.
