What is Payments Online?
Payments Online is an internet web service allowing parents or guardians to make payments for FNSBSD purchases, fines, or fees. Users have student historical receipts available as well as the ability to pay for student library and textbook fines. On a school-by-school basis, there may also be a limited offering of school and district-sponsored items available for internet purchase.

How do I log in to Payments Online?
The Payments Online application – TouchBase – is accessible for students and parents through PowerSchool. Sign into PowerSchool. Go to Fees & Payments.
(For parents with multiple students in the district, you’ll be able to see all of your students with your one username and password. Once you’ve selected your student, the shopping experience will be specific to that student.)
Guest Users, Building Rental Customers: To set up a TouchBase account, follow the Guest Users link on the website.
FNSBSD Staff & students: A TouchBase account has also been set up for all current FNSBSD students, faculty, and staff. Your username is your District ID and your password is your LastName (case sensitive).

Is there a convenience fee for online payments?

Yes, there is a 2% convenience charge for covering some of the credit card processing fees. Minimum of $1, maximum of $20.
- Refunds for any online purchase follow the same policies and procedures for regular purchases. Requests for a refund must be directed to the school or district office and accompanied by a receipt. Convenience fees will not be refunded.

Is my credit card data stored when I use the online payments application?
No – the online payments application does not store your card data under any circumstances. The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District does not store your credit card data under any circumstances either. The online payments portal uses PCI-compliant processes and security protocols to ensure your data is protected while being processed. All payments are secure and protected.
