Welcome to our Barnette Community!

Barnette Magnet PTA works hard to serve families and staff and build community. We raise funds to supplement both teacher and school needs, as well as augment Barnette's unique student programs. The PTA puts on events such as Pop in for Popsicles, a family dance, and family picnic. We support our teacher with volunteers, food, and loads of coffee! There are many more things behind the scenes and it all takes quite a bit of work. Our PTA works best if everyone takes charge of one small job. We encourage you to join the PTA to both stay informed and to contribute to the school, in whatever way you are able. Consider joining or leading a committee, volunteering to help at events, or giving your talents to better our efforts. If you feel inadequate or overly scheduled, you'll fit right in. We can only do what you help us to. No effort is too small.
