Perforation & Scoring

  • Perforation: Perforated paper is a sheet of paper or card stock that has a line of very small holes punched into the paper. Perforation allows parts of the sheet to be separated simply by folding and tearing along the dotted line.

Scoring: Scored paper is a sheet of paper or cardstock that has a crease punched into the paper. Scoring creates guide marks for folding and helps prevent the paper from fraying while folding.
