The Startalk Summer Program has been canceled as of 05.05.23:
Fairbanks North Star Borough school district students entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in the fall of 2023 are eligible to participate in this exciting two-week summer program. Join us to learn about the Russian language and culture!

Language Advantage Russian STARTALK program empowers students with critical language and intercultural communication skills in an ever-changing world. Students learn the Russian language and culture and explore Russian art, geography, cultural traditions, national holidays, food, and more! No prior Russian language experience is necessary.
STARTALK is a federal grant program funded and administered by the National Security Agency to increase the number of U.S. citizens learning, speaking, and teaching critical-need foreign languages, with programs for students and teachers.
