  • PTA General Membership Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 25 in the commons from 5:30-7:00.  There will be a dinner served and the speaker will talk about Internet safety.  Elections will be held for next year's executive board and the budget will be discussed.  Please come and support UPark PTA.

  • Thanks to the efforts of parents, students, and staff, our school collected 6,496 cans this year. This will go a long way toward helping people in our community who are less fortunate. Well done, Falcons!

  • On October 14, Odom and University park Elementary School were recognized for their long-standing school-business partnership.  Odom supplies refreshments for family nights, science fair judges, and helps transport pumpkins for the traditional third grade sale. Odom Corporation has assisted UPK in various ways for over a decade!  Yea, Odom!

  • BIG thank you to the Fairbanks Fire Department for providing COATS for KIDS! UPK students were able to select jackets varying sizes and colors - just in time for the cold weather.  Thanks Fairbanks Fire Department!

  • The principal, Kyra Aizstrauts, will hold a meeting on Wednesday, November 30th at 6:30 (in the library) to discuss the possibility that University Park will become a K-8 school starting in the 2018-19 school year. Please plan on attending if you have any questions.

  • Drive Safe!

     
    Student safety is in the driver's hands. Leave the house early enough so you are not rushed. Stay in line while flowing through the parking lot to the "stop, drop, and go" curb. Pull up, as far as possible, while wishing your child a good day. Be cautious as you drive to and from school. Children are precious!
