    We will be hosting a House Coffee sale Feb. 10th through Feb. 28th to raise money to support our overall House System at Joy.  We will use the sales to pay for our House App and additional House activities like field trips and celebrations.

    An Overview of the Event
    • Each house will select a custom coffee from the selection at North Pole coffee roasters  to represent their house.  North Pole Coffee roasters will package and label Each "House Coffee"  with the House's Crest, colors and a custom name chosen by each house. Ex: "Ububele Bean
    • Staff students and families will pre-sell coffee February 10 through February 28.   Staff, student and families will use Coffee sales sheets to record the coffee purchases with a receipt portion to be given to each "purchaser".  
    • We ask that parents fill out a signature sheet  to verify the contents of student sales envelopes before turning them into the office.    Pre-sale money and sales sheets should be placed in the envelope and sealed before being turned in to the office on February 28th.   
    • The custom packaged "House Coffees" will then be delivered to the school after spring break so individual students can distribute the coffees to their purchasers. 
    HOUSE and INDIVIDUAL SALES AWARDS:
    • The House selling the most packages of Coffee will earn 100 house points.  
    • The individual selling the most packages of Coffee will earn 50 points for their house
    • The Class selling the most coffee will get a pizza party for their class!

    Welcome New Joy Families!

    Please enroll online at the district homepage. here

    You may bring necessary documents to the school prior to school starting in August if you are unable to upload them.

    Help speed up enrollment by bringing along these important forms:

    (**students will not be enrolled in school without these forms)

    **Birth Certificate A birth certificate is required for students entering kindergarten or first grade who haven't been enrolled in the district before.

    **Proof of Immunization

    **Proof of Current Physical Address Utility bills such as phone, water or electric-proof of one of these services at the home resident is required

    Reminder: Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1st to enroll in Kindergarten.

     

    OAA REQUESTS: If you do not live in the Joy attendance area and wish to have your child attend Joy K-8 you will need to enroll in your home school and submit an online application in the Lottery here. This is the FNSBSD new online lottery system. Out of Attendance Area requests will not be considered until after the first 10 days of school. Students must be enrolled in their home school for the first 10 days of school. Families will be contacted on day 11th day, if there is an opening in the requested grade level.

    Joy is a recipient of the USDA Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program! Every Wednesday, fresh fruits or vegetables are delivered to all of our students to try. Ask your child what was delivered this week! Read the following letter to find out more about this special grant-funded program:
