2012 Red Ribbon Week
On Tuesday, October 23, students, staff and parents celebrated Red Ribbon Week at a Kick Off Celebration in the Joy Elementary School gymnasium.
Red Ribbon Week is a national drug-prevention awareness effort that emphasizes healthy decision making skills and the negative consequences of drug use. October is also Bullying Prevention/Awareness Month. During Red Ribbon Week and throughout October, the district educated students about bullying prevention and drug prevention.
