It is the intent of the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District to assist in making your military transitions, deployments, and reintegration’s as smooth as possible. We would like to provide this page to keep you up-to-date of activities, programs, and services that are offered in the surrounding communities and on Fort Wainwright and Eielson Air Force Base.
Throughout this website, you will find information regarding FNSBSD, however, if you just can't find what you are looking for, feel free to call the administration offices at (907) 452-2000. The receptionist will guide you to the correct department.

SOAR (Student Online Achievement Resources)
SOAR (Student Online Achievement Resources) is a program for military families and the school districts that serve them. It aims to address the unique challenges facing military children in our nation’s public schools, while benefiting the overall student population.
SOAR Home is an internet-based application, which is easily accessible worldwide. SOAR was designed for all military families worldwide and classmates of military dependents in schools serving military installations. Coast Guard, Reserve and National Guard families are also eligible.
