The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District has high expectations for all students and believes every student has the ability to learn meaningful mathematics within a supportive environment. An understanding of the concepts, processes, and applications of mathematics is essential to every student’s ongoing education and future success. 

MISSION 

The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District will provide all students with a strong foundation in mathematical content and reasoning. Students will solve problems creatively and resourcefully with fluent computation. All students will apply and communicate challenging, meaningful, and relevant mathematics.
