The Young Native Fiddlers, under the direction of Bill Stevens, musical director, and Lisa Gwalthney, group director, performed at the Nov. 17, 2009 school board meeting.
The Young Native Fiddlers is a group of local Alaska Native students, predominately Athabascan, who perform at many cultural and school events throughout the year.
Fifth and sixth grade students from Salcha Elementary School, under the direction of teacher Ken Brown, performed at the Dec. 1, 2009 school board meeting.
The students sang songs and recited poetry.
The North Pole Jazz Choir, under the direction of Bruce Hanson, performed for the Board of Education on Dec. 15, 2009
The North Pole High Jazz Band, under the direction of Richard Gresham, performed for the school board Jan. 19, 2010.
