Each February, this committee holds several meetings to review the administration’s proposed budget for the coming fiscal year. The committee works to ensure that the proposed budget is in line with the school board’s priorities and agenda for the coming year.
This year marks the twenty-sixth year of citizen participation in the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District budget review process.
This committee is aware that over the past quarter century, the School Board has always carefully considered and acted upon many of the past recommendations developed by prior citizen budget review committees.
